Court Finds Monsanto Responsible for Poisoning French Farmer

 

The court of appeals in Lyon, France, has found agribusiness giant Monsanto guilty of poisoning a man named Paul François. François is a farmer who claimed that he suffered a multitude of ailments, including headaches, memory loss, neurological problems and stammering, after he unintentionally inhaled Monsanto’s herbicide, Lasso.

  1. I believe this same company was something called “suicide seeds” (which only grow once and don’t produce fertile seeds). The idea is that farmers have to buy seeds again every time they plant. It is a perversion of nature for a company to make more money. Also, I believe it was Monsanto who were responsible for genetically-modified cotton seeds sold to Indian farmers. The seeds weren’t effective (which cause crop failures and mass suicides of Indian farmers who lost everything). The most recent horror stories I’ve heard involve their pesticide Round-Up. –Paul

  2. And yet, in this country, Monsanto is above ‘the law’, as is every other elite-swine owned corporation.
