I’m both sad and happy. Sad that this man, of all men, had to be as mortal as any other, but happy that he lived, and by doing so, showed us what is possible under the right circumstances. Fidel’s Cuba still lives as she might for generations yet to come, and therein the man found his everlasting moment. Truly a selfless genius in the service of humanity who managed to fulfill his promise. One of the few.
