Communist bees

The things you will read shortly after, it might seem an imagination or unreal, my earthling friends. But it’s all true. You will read the informations about the municipality are real, and also it is in Turkey Republic.

First of all I have to mention that in provincial and county municipal elections in Turkey, the rate of votes of the people living within the boundaries of the province or county, determines which party the municipality belongs to. For example, the same situation does not exist in parliamentary elections. A 10% election threshold in parliamentary elections is a matter of fact, and even if the person who wants to become a deputy, holds the most votes in the region, if his/her party remains below 10% of the all Turkey general votes, he/she can not be a deputy. Yes democracy is such a thing, haha!

Anyway, I guess, you’re wondering where these communist bees came from.

These communist bees are the bees of only municipality of Ovacik, Turkey’s only communist municipality. I did not give this name to them, the locals call with this name.

Tunceli (Dersim) city, Ovacık county municipality, with the candidate of Communist Party in the municipal elections on March 30, 2014, became the only communist municipality in the country.

*It must be pointed out that before September 12, 1980 the fascist coup, there was a communist party county in Fatsa county of Ordu city in Turkey.

Let us take a look at what the communist mayor of Fatih Mehmet Macoglu who was beloved by the public has done, since then:

First, he sold official car and he used this money to open the library. Anymore, there is a big library in the municipal building.

There is no door in his office room at Ovacık municipality building, everyone can enter to his room.

He opened the public properties to the people. The municipality is farming these areas, and the collected crops are distributed to the poor people.

He made public transportation free. So the county buses are free.

“When the demand for organic chickpeas, dried beans and honey produced by the only Communist Party municipality of Turkey in Tunceli’s Ovacık District became intense, the district cargo began to carry packages with a quota above Turkey standards. Moved products have been 3 tonnes per week.”

Of course the winner here is the peasants and the consumers. There are 51 villages in the Ovacik county, and the villagers can now make money from their own products without intermediaries.

The products of Ovacik municipality are not only chickpeas and beans. They also produce organic honey, again through a cooperative.

With the start of sales of honey in Turkey, communist mayor Macoglu said:

“After the communist chickpeas and beans, the communist honey has also entered the Turkish literature. We put on the market Turkey’s healthiest and most natural honey. Those who tasted the natural honey, both will eat our honey, also will become communist.” :))

The Ovacik municipality also grants scholarships to college students with the proceeds from the honey.

In addition, there is such a transparent and open municipal policy that, at the end of the years, the Ovacik municipality annually puts the annual income costs on banners and hangs it at the door of the municipality, so that all the public can see.

The communist mayor also opened the tours of the Munzur valley, set up camp sites there, and opened the area for tourism.

The works are not limited with only these. Especially for children and young people, culture house, cinema-theater workshop and music workshop also provide training.

So, in short, it is a municipality that exists for the people, that is what it has to be already.
