This is very old Turkish folk song actually. This folk song was written at the begining of 1800’s by Minstrel Dertli against a muslim judge who made a law against playing “saz” (Turkish stringed instrument).
According to this muslim judge, “saz” was the devil’s work, and he banned to play “saz”. At those days, muslim judges tried the cases in Ottoman, and their title was “kadi” in Turkish.
When looking at the history, actually nothing changed in some human brains. Maybe different conditions bring different events. But mentality is the same as always. And they can never see “Minstrel Dertli is still living”, but that muslim judge name is not remembered by anyone. Same will be to the others.
Like another Turkish-Alawite great Minstrel Pir Sultan Abdal said in 16th century:
“Walk Hizir Pasha!
Someday your cycle also will be broken!
The Sultan that you trusted,
Someday he will be overthrown!”
*Turkish-Alawite Minstrel Pir Sultan Abdal had been hanged with the order of Ottoman Hizir Pasha in 155o, because of he revolted against Ottoman. (Yes! Anatolian minstrels have got the rebellious soul along side their music soul:))

Scientists, however, contend that taking wolves out of the ecological picture will have a profound effect on all wildlife. As a keystone species, wolves play “a unique and crucial role in the way an ecosystem functions,” National Geographic notes. “Without keystone species, the ecosystem would be dramatically different or cease to exist altogether.”
I don’t want to wake up in a day that the bees mass death happened, or the wolves could be killed by governments’ plans on this planet! Humans kill itself enough! Leave the animals and nature alone! And if Norway government puts this plan into action, history will remember this government as “MURDERER!” and it will be judged by future generations as “WOLF KILLER!” Don’t forget that!
I don’t like the summer. The reason of this is not the same reason with Migo’s. Migo doesn’t like the summer because of it is hot. But I don’t like because of I would be alone with a broken heart, even a heart which was broken brutally at the end of the each summer! You know me anymore, my dear followers. I am a very emotional and sensitive dog. Okay, I am handsome and intelligent at the same time, but this is not a subject currently; or is it? Anyway, I don’t know.
This summer had also started with great expectations, and it ended likewise with frustrated. How unfortunate dog I am! Don’t I deserve a love which is being a subject of big love such as Romeo-Juliet! (Oh, no! their end wasn’t good, they had died at the result of great silliness) But still, I do have riot against my destiny!
Anyway, I did have great hopes about this summer again. In the begining of summer, I was trying to keep Migo under observation and trying to discover how Migo sent the signals to his alien friends, like the other times. Of course some of you remember that, I am doing this for creating the material for my ongoing enlightening project, so for my magnificent book “I’ve lived terrible days with an alien” that I talked about a long time ago in “The unknown series with WD“. Of course this is a very tough job. I watch, I observe, I follow and take note of any suspicious movement of him. Nothing was not usual lately. He was very well camouflaged of himself as an alien!
I was getting pissed off while Migo was continuing his normal life. I began to study over whatever he did. One day, at the WordPress pages, (Yes! it is right here! How terrible isn’t it, in front of all our eyes!) I caught him while he was looking at the stats-insights-posting activity. Yeah, I caught him, because he closed the page into rush. Even though I say it myself I do have eyes like a hawk!
The next day when he made the same thing, I started to study to this page. What was on this page! There is a graphic like that:
This graphic shows that the number of the posts at the day scale. Okay, but, Migo is a smart alien; doesn’t he know how many post he added in each day? I suspected that something is wrong.
A few days later, when Migo wasn’t around, I opened the page and started to examination. At the graphic, there are the tiny boxes, some were full and dark, some of them was empty and white. If I asked Migo, I believe that he was going to deny! Already denying is a thing which Migo admitted too often in the face of my questions about his alien friends! No matter how much evidence I put in front of him, he denies always! Now, you can make his defense. “Migo is good, he is good alien,” you can say. But how much we know him? He didn’t share a photo of his origin planet with us. Even he doesn’t have a single selfie photo of him and his alien friends! But we belive in his words, and his alien friends are innocent, huh! By the way, he says he is a communist. But there is not any union which he connected! Funny! These all are Migo’s camouflages!
In fact, okay, I shouldn’t be too much unfair. Migo may seem harmless. But even if he looks harmless, this alien should be observed. Maybe even he is not aware of how dangerous he is. Maybe, his so-called alien friends have put a chip in his brain, and when the day comes, his invader alien friends will activate to this chip! Nobody knows this, even himself!
All right, yes, you may be right, Migo seems harmless. He has not got light saber, he is not shapeshifter, he cannot melt the iron with his eyes, so shortly he has not got any charming ability for an alien. Only, he has got a spaceship; but I doubt in even that. Because Migo’s spaceship looks like a junk which was taken from the second hand vehicle market. Even maybe, this junk spaceship may have been stolen from a junkyard on a planet. And maybe some space bandits or space police had pursued to Migo! When they arrived to our beloved planet Earth, will they catch only Migo! No way! They will invade Earth! And all of this will be due to Migo! So, including Migo all we don’t know anything!
As a result of all these possibilities in mind, I wouldn’t ask him what was in posting activity page. I had have the weight of the world on my shoulders, not only myself! It must have been something on the page attracted his attention, but what was it!
I started to examine immediately. What was the meaning of these dark-blue boxes? The first thing came to my mind was to uncover a word series of combining from these dark tiny boxes. But it emerged something like that:
That was meaningless!
At the moment that I gave up, Migo called me. He said we were going to the beach. This was an oppurtunity for me, because I wanted to break and to open new places in my brain to produce. We went to the beach together. But I didn’t have any idea that I will meet the lady dog in my dreams at that day!
Migo has directly jumped to the sea. He never stays out the sea already. I did lay down under the parasol; I was sure that the iodine smell of the sea would revive my brain soon. But I smelt another scent on the air with a slight breeze. I raised my head unwittingly. What is that! The world’s beatiful dog was coming! Even she wasn’t walking, she wasn’t running; that lady dog was coming by dancing! I swear that I have seen her dancing like the dancer at this video!
I had never seen her before in this area. This lady dog was not on my list either. Who was this beauty! Where was she from? Where was she going? Would she accept my friendship offer? I wonder how I looks at that moment! I did slowly stand up the sand; looked at myself, well I was not a bad day. I began to imagine what we can do in our first meeting with her. Which books she likes to read? Or does she like to drink beer? A lot of questions! Migo would come soon, and we would turn back home. I had to find a way to achieve that beauty. I made my move to go next to her. My heart was beating like boom. What was I gonna say to her?
“You’re very pretty,” No, this wouldn’t be good, it would be a very superficial approach.
“I know there is a very nice view, do you want to know that place?” Yes it could be. This would show that I was about the environment. Okay! I was going to say this to her.
I started to approach at the slow paws. One step, two steps, but my legs were trembling. I took one more step, there was only two or three steps had left between me and her. But Migo, this horrible alien called me! Damn!
“We’re going WD. Are you coming?”
I returned involuntarily. The timing of the Migo was great, as usual! My dreams were destroyed at that time. I didn’t know that I will see her again or not. I turned my head and last time I have looked at her. That moment I caught her eye! With Migo’s call, she had looked at me! My heart was gonna explode! But if I was not turning back with Migo, then I would show a creepy beheave. And I kept my hopes for the next days.
Days passed but I have never seen her again! All because of Migo’s fault! I more focused on observing Migo! I studied more this page. I am working in these days something different solution came to my mind. It’s binary code! Yes! Migo is always good with the numbers! That’s why the secret of this page should be this! I give the numbers to the tiny boxes acoording to colors(to the dark ones 1, empty ones 0).

The US ambassador to the UN Samantha Power had claimed that the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs “should be ashamed” for accusing the United States of defending the Islamic State. The reply to her came from Russia’s Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova.
The invitation message was posted by Maria Zakharova on Power’s Facebook page, as a comment under the US diplomat’s statement where she claimed Zakharova should be ashamed of the comments on Washington purported cooperation with the ISIL, TASS reported.
“Dear Samantha Power, in order to learn the meaning of word ‘shame’ I would advise you to visit Syria and meet people there,” Zakharova wrote.
“Not with al-Nusra Front (now, renamed as Fatah al-Sham Front), nor with the moderate opposition, nor about delivery of humanitarian aid for which Washington is worried so much, not with those living in the West who are so concerned about the prosperous future for that country, but meet people, who live there, despite the fact that for almost six years already their country undergoes a bloody experiment, with an active involvement of Washington.”
The foreign ministry’s representative said she has been communicating Syrians, including representatives of the Syrian militant groups, with orphans, who come to rest and receive rehabilitation treatment in Russia, with reporters. So that Power could also have experience of the kind, Zakharova invited her to visit Syria.
“Why not go together?” she said. “All at my expense. Sure, it is not a tour of the UN corridors for the miserable. That trip would be much more breath-taking. Do agree. No fears. Nobody will touch you if you are there with me. But for a possible chance, where yours “by a mistake” deliver a strike somewhere special. You will have things to remember. And, besides, will be able to learn what “shame” means.”
Zakharova also critically commented on Power’s statement the US cannot support the ISIL, since its militants cut off heads of the US citizens.
“To your words claiming the US could not support those who cut off heads of the US citizens, please find attached hereto a picture from Wikipedia “US President Ronald Regan meets a delegation of Afghani militants in the White House in 1983”, Zakharova wrote.

On September 17, Russian Defense Ministry’s spokesman Maj Gen Igor Konashenkov said the anti-ISIL coalition’s warplanes delivered air strikes on units of the Syrian governmental forces, killing 62 Syrian servicemen and injuring 100 more.

PESHAWAR: The mainstream electronic media might be deaf and blind to the terrorist attack on a mosque in Mohmand Agency, but some rights activists on social media picked up the issue of not covering a deadly blast killing 22 and running non-stop tickers of arrest of a politician in Karachi instead.
“Had this blast happened in Kashmir instead of Mohmand Agency, Pakistani politicians, including the PM, would be in queue to issue statements,” reads a tweet on social media about the Friday’s mosque attack.
“Fata is bleeding and news channels are happy to glue themselves to Khwaja Izhar and Rao Anwar…and they call themselves beacon of information,” said a lawyer in his tweet criticising the mainstream media for blacking out the Friday’s attack in Mohmand tribal agency and running tickers of arrest of MQM’s leader of opposition in Sindh Assembly Khwaja Izharul Hassan.

Only two private Pashto TV channels based in Peshawar showed updates and details of the terrorist attack on Mohmand mosque.
Bushra Gohar, a rights activist-turned politician, expressed her disappointment at the electronic media for not giving coverage to attacks in Mardan and Peshawar and the recent attack in Mohmand Agency.
“Firstly, Pakhtuns don’t have a channel of their own to highlight issues of this region. Secondly, Punjab-centric media is controlled and right winged. They never discuss serious issues like that of conflict in Fata and displacement,” said Bushra Gohar while explaining why the mainstream electronic media did not give any coverage to the issues of Fata , Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan which had still been bearing the brunt of terrorism and extremism. Not running any ticker on the blast in Mohmand Agency is the latest example of this selective reporting by the mainstream electronic media.
“The Fata people and its land have been used for the last over 60 years as strategic depth and human life has no value there,” said Bushra Gohar.
Ijaz Mohmand, a senior lawyer hailing from Mohmand Agency, seemed angered at the electronic media for not showing the tragic event and its details to let the world know how the people of Fata were suffering.
“We sensed it ourselves when we continuously saw arrest of a politician in Karachi on our TV screens, but there was no mention of the attack on mosque in Mohmand where mostly boys were hit and being transferred for treatment to Bajaur and Peshawar,” said Ijaz Mohmand, calling all those analysts and security analysts pseudo-intellectuals who seem to have no words when it comes to situation of Fata and never speak on the issues that are taking toll on the lives of people in tribal areas.
“…the screams of pain of the affected have yet to reach media houses,” Prof Khadim Hussain , a writer and analyst, tweeted when 22 persons were hit in a mosque during Friday prayers in Mohmand Agency.
Speaking on the issue of why electronic media refrained from discussing or highlighting the events in tribal areas, Prof Hussain told Dawn that when states used some areas for its strategic purposes then such areas become more like a black hole and its people were so much dehumanised by the state with its policies that even media was pressured to think anyone talking about the issues of Fata as a criticism against the state itself.
“Look what happened in Quetta, Peshawar and Kabul and now in Mohmand where innocent people were killed. On the one hand, the state is not ready to review policies causing pain in these areas, on the other, those who bring out the voice of these people are looked upon as working against the state,” explained Prof Hussain while analysing why the electronic media looked the other way when it came to highlighting the issues relating to troubled tribal areas or Balochistan.
The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that Syrian army positions were attacked by two F-16 fighter jets and two A-10 ground attack aircraft of the US-led coalition.
“Today at 17:00-17:50 Moscow time, international anti-Daesh coalition (two F-16 and two A-10 jets) carried out four strikes on Syrian government forces’ units encirled by Daesh near Deir ez-Zor airport. The coalition’s aircraft entered Syrian airspace from the side of the Iraqi border,” Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said.
Earlier in the day, the General Command of the Syrian army accused the US-led coalition of bombing the Syrian army’s positions in Deir ez-Zor.
As a result of the attack, 62 Syrian soldiers were killed and some 100 others were injured, according to information received from the Syrian command in Deir ez-Zor, he said.

Tarik Akan who was one of the best actors of the Turkish movies, has died today. He was 66 years old, and he has been receiving the lung cancer treattment for a while. His movie career has begun in 1971. Actually he had a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Yıldız Technical University, Istanbul, but he had entered a contest of the Turkish famous magazine called Ses and came first. In a short time, he has become one of the most handsome players at Yesilcam(Turkey’s Hollywood).
In the first years he played mostly the roles for the love and poor-rich movies, except the movie of Hababam Sinifi (The Dunce Class). But his leftist ideas outweighed the earning money from popular movies.

And he started to play into the films which gives the social messages. Tarik Akan had said in an interview: “I was an artist working connected with Ertem Egilmez(he was the Turkish director). Egilmez also captured rich and poor films. One day I said to Ertem Egilmez “I was tired of these films”. Because I did not know the characters I played. I was not a rich kid. I wanted to do something else…”
With this decision, he showed his face with Maden (Mine) movie with a coal miner role in 1978. Mine movie tells about the mine workers and a revolutionary in a coalmine and their actions against the mine’s boss.
Tarik Akan had been arrested in early 1981 when he returned back to the country from Germany, because of a speech he made in Germany immediately after September 12 military coup in Turkey. He stayed in prison many months. He has been tortured, and he had told his memories about those years into the book “Mother, there is the louse in my head.” which was written by himself in 2002.
But he never gave up! He continued to play at the movies which disturb the powers. He has got great success with his role in the “Yol” movie in 1982. Also he has won numerous awards from various festivals including Cannes and Berlin, during his life time.
His revolutionist side and his attitude being by the public have not changed, even if the years passed.
For example:
While Ergenekon-Balyoz cases were continuing, out side of the court at Silivri (the cases were tried in there), the crowd people were making protest demonstrations. All court building and prisons inside were surrounded by police barriers. And many people wanted to go inside while the cases opened. Government used many tear gas and violance to them in many days.
Tarik Akan has been there! He went to there to support to the peoples. And when he went to there, he tried to bring the military police barriers down!

Anatolia lands lost many valuable people especially during last years. I don’t know maybe the world is going to bad end with high speed and people understand these people values more than before; and maybe feel more their absence anymore…
I am sure with Tarik Akan’s absence, many people of Anatolia in many public demonstrations at future, will look at the empty road with sadness and with thinking:
“If Tarik Akan had been here, we would not have felt alone…”
To be child is very hard in some places on this planet! Get off the children’s back! So that the children can laugh and laugh with happily echo until the end of the universe!
Shukurallah was one of kids in Kabul city that his family punishes him and make him so sad. Sadness, that his family given him, could be vanished by watching cartoons.
Shukurallah, who was in First Grade at “ChilhellDukhtaran” (Forty girls) Public School, used to watch Tom and Jerry Cartoon. Couples of his hour spend on watching of escaping and following of the cat and the mouse that known as Tom and Jerry.
“My favorite cartoon is Tom and Jerry” said Shukurallah.Shukurallah was only eight years old that his mother frequently punished him with beating by woods in his back.
Family punishing is not uncommon for children in Kabul. Wood that Shukurallah’s mother used to punish him was not only case of family violence against children.The Majority of children in Kabul faced hard violence and are under oppression of their families.
With the fascist coup of Pinochet with CIA’s support in September 11, 1973, Victor Jara has been arrested with many civilian and was put into the National Stadium of Chile. While he was in there, due to the torture his hands have been broken and chopped. As the reports of Vladimir Chernyshev who was Pravda reporter conveyed, Victor Jara was singing “Venceremos” which was the popular song of “Unidad Popular” even while he was torturing. And Jara’s chopped hands were hung to the stadium for intimidating to the other prisoners.
And another journalist, Chilean journalist Miguel Cabezas, has described the events in National Stadium at that day for America’s University review.
…Volleys of machine gun fire periodically emptied into the crowd and bodies rolled down the inclines. Prisoners who hadn’t eaten or drunk in days vomited on the dead bodies of their comrades.
Victor wandered around trying to calm them and rouse their spirits. He went down to the arena and approached one of the doors where new prisoners entered. “A collective outcry from 6,000 prisoners was heard. These 12,000 eyes then watched the same officer throw himself over the fallen body of singer and actor Victor Jara and begin to hit him while shouting: ‘Now sing, you motherfucker, now sing.’
“Jara received more blows but raised himself and walked to where the arena and bleachers met. There was a deep silence. And then his voice was heard crying: ‘All right comrades, let’s do the senor commandante the favour.’ He steadied himself for a moment and then lifting his bleeding hands began to sing with an unsteady voice the anthem of Unidad Popular. And everybody sang with him.”
A volley was fired and Jara fell dead.

It has passed 36 years since the September 12, 1980 fascist Military Coup in Turkey. The ideas of Kenan Evren (he was the military coup leader general), nowadays continues to be implemented with AKP.
36 years passed since the bloody coup in September 12 which was launched with Kenan Evren’ leadership of the junta.
The leader of the military coup, Kenan Evren died last year, but the spirit of the September 12 continues to hold on to the power 36 years after.

Paul Henze who was Turkey chief of the CIA in the 1970s, was close to the generals who made this military coup. He gave the military coup news to Jimmy Carter with saying “Our boys in Ankara have done”. He was mentioning the generals while saying “our boys”.
